Objective
Collaborate with the IT Department to design and develop interactive Fabric Configurators and Model Builders that will replace the current downloadable Excel-based tools on the website. The goal is to create a seamless, intuitive, and visually engaging web-based experience that improves usability, increases efficiency, and enhances overall customer interaction.
Co-OP Fabric Configurator
Moving from a downloadable Excel file to an integrated web application modernized the configuration workflow and reduced user friction. The redesigned experience simplifies fabric selection through guided interaction and real-time cost transparency, improving both accuracy and efficiency in the quoting process.
Flipside Model Builder
User feedback indicated that the Excel version was confusing and difficult to navigate. The redesigned Flipside Model Builder provides a visual, step-by-step interface for customizing each module, with dynamic line drawings reflecting each selection. This approach makes complex configurations intuitive and efficient.
Lineup Fabric Configurator
The previous process for configurating the Lineup series was complex and confusing, especially when building custom modular setups with different fabric grades being specified. I designed an interactive web-based fabric configurator that allows users to specify each section individually while displaying a visual representation of their selections in real time. This approach simplifies customization, reduces errors, and makes even complex configurations intuitive and manageable.
